MAI was left at the trash bin when he was born and picked up by an old couple. The key issue is the huge generation gap that makes Mai very confused growing up with a very old conservative step parent. The new mom and dad have tried hard to raise the lost child though they are not that wealthy. The issue may not be only the gap, he is living in the poor neighborhood. His playmate has drug addicted mom that we are speechless! We cannot only rescue Mai but we need to manage that small compound before it gets too late for all the children there. 

แม่อายุ 80 เล่าว่าเจอใหม่ที่ถังขยะ ไม่รู้ใครเอามาทิ้งไว้เลยเก็บมาเลี้ยงและดูแลตั้งแต่วันนั้นจนวันนี้  จากการพูดคุยกับใหม่ น้องยังเด็กและดูสับสนกับการเติบโตมากับคนที่เรียกว่าพ่อแม่ที่ชรามาก 2 คนที่บอกเราเสียงดังฟังชัดต่อหน้าน้องว่าเก็บน้องมาจากถุงขยะ พ่อกับแม่น้องใหม่รักและดูแลใหม่อย่างดี แต่บางทีผู้ใหญ่ก็ไม่ได้คิดว่าควรสื่อสารและให้กำลังใจเด็กแบบไหน ที่น่าห่วงคือใหม่โตมาใน พท ที่มีเพื่อนบ้านไม่ค่อยดี ยากจน ติดหนี้ ติดยา ถ้าเราจะช่วยใหม่หมายถึงว่าเราต้องช่วยแก้ปัญหายาเสพติดทั้งบริเวณนั้นด้วย ซึ่งคงต้องใช้เงินและพลังงานมหาศาลในการจัดการ
